The first is that the test of English as a Florien Language or TOEFL - as it is called - is an insurmountable obstacle for those who wish to join US universities and Canada to pursue their education in the fields of science, medicine, engineering, mathematics and humanities in English.

Second, the Arabic library is free of books and references dealing with this problem. The third is the existence of a large gap between the nature of this as a test and the type of education developed and the curriculum of the English language taught to students. The third chapter, which deals with the second section of the TOEFL include written structures and expressions, will not be explained in detail to the known grammar rules, but rather to the uncommon ones, in addition to the correct uses of similar words but have a various content.

In the fourth chapter, the third and final section will be the vocabulary and readings. It will provide the reader with ways that will help him to collect and understand the vocabulary. He will also know the methods of reading the different subjects in terms of the nature of the reading material and the types of questions.

When the book "How to pass the TOEFL" was written, the writer took into consideration two main types, either graduate students in different disciplines or those whom were employed in university or intermediate teaching, all of them with a reasonable degree of English proficiency.
