Translation from English to Arabic and vice versa


There is no doubt that there is an urgent need for qualified translators in this age when advanced means of communication - from radio, television and journalism - have turned the globe into a large village where news arrives immediately or at most after minutes or hours.

What is the translation?. Translation is the transfer of speech from one language to another. And it came in the book El Monjed   that translation of speech; ie: interpreted by another language, and translation from means make its more clarified, and the translation is: interpretation. The meaning of interpretation is very important because it is the basis of translation, if someone didn’t understand something he/she cannot understand. If the translator doesn’t understand what is written in a language, he cant transfer it to another language. If he/she  wrote without sufficient understanding, he/she would write enigmas and mysteries in which the reader will be puzzled.

Arabicizing: translation from foreign languages ​​into Arabic, which deals with the text is: dyeing this foreign word with an Arabic accent when it translated to the Arabic language.
The translator is the interpreter, and translation isn’t that easy field or career. It combines the branches of the spoken language (the source language) and the language to which it is translated (target language) and can’t be mastered unless there following basics and conditions are found :
• A broad base of language vocabulary for both of languages you translate (from-to)
• A deep study of grammar and rhetoric in both languages.
• Wide culture.
• Secretariat in the transfer of ideas.
• Patience.


The translation tools that must be well known to use and deal with them, are:

• The Oxford English Dictionary
• Encyclopedic World Dictionary


2.Bilingual dictionaries and dictionaries English / Arabic General
It proposes a set of Arabic words to choose from, which fits the context and its meaning. If he doesn’t find what he is needing, he should refer to the English / English dictionaries to identify the meaning of the worn in English , and then trigger his thought to reach the desired Arabic synonym. The most important of these references:
