This book , The Good Grammar Book, is a comprehensive one in which all English grammar  and rules you need to know are illustrated. The book is divided to twenty- one section ,every section speaks of some main points . Let’s start by the first section under the heading of “be and have” which contains the both of verbs” to be and to have” in different tenses. The second section under the heading “present tenses” which talks about simple present tense in the case of affirmative and negative statements or in question and present progressive tense uses.


The third section under the heading  “talking about the future” continues talking about present progressive  with the will-future forms. The fourth section under the heading “past tenses” talks about the simple past forms , questions and uses ,also the past progressive questions and uses. The fifth section under the heading “ perfect tenses” talks about the present perfect, past perfect and present perfect progressive forms &uses.


The sixth chapter under the heading “modal verbs” talks about modal verbs uses in sentences or questions. The seventh chapter “ passives” talks about passive with different tenses “simple present – future – present progressive -present perfect” . The eighth section under the heading “questions and negatives” talks about “yes/no questions” , “question words” , “negatives” and “negative questions”.


The ninth section under the heading “infinitives and -ing forms” talks about infinitives of purpose and verbs+ ing and prepositions + ing.  The tenth section under the heading “special structures with verbs” talk about verbs with prepositions , phrasal verbs, imperatives and suggestions .


Section number eleven under the heading “ articles a/ an and the” talks about the different articles with examples to illustrate it in details . Section number twelve under the heading “determiners” talks about some , any, much, many , a little and a few ,also other words and the differences between them. Section number thirteen which talks about the “personal pronouns and possessives”  in details . Section number fourteen which talks about singular and plural nouns & countable and uncountable nouns.


Section number fifteen under the heading “adjectives  and adverbs” which talks about different types of adjectives and adverbs “place – time – etc “ also it speaks of comparatives and superlatives. Section number sixteen talks about conjunctions and how to use them will different examples. Section number seventeen talks “If” in different cases . Section number eighteen talks about relative pronouns. Section number nineteen talks about indirect speech. Section number twenty speaks of the different and many prepositions that mislead us so much. The final section number twenty one talks about spoken grammar.
