Until the end of the 19th century, the European novel dominated the global narrative scene overwhelmingly, killing all opportunities for the serious appearance of any novelist outside the borders of Europe. Despite his young age, Tom and his criminal fellow Huckleberry plan to flee this ruthless village and to break into the exciting pirate’s world by sailing with a stolen boat. And they actually start the adventure that leads them to discover a terrifying murder crime which took place by a malefactor criminal . And this mysterious adventure isn’t less exciting than the first one.

In the cinema ,in 1917 in a silent American film of the same name signed by director William Desmond Taylor .A second version appeared in 1938 with the same name as the American director Norman Teorg, who received a nomination for the Venice Film Festival and an Oscar nomination for the same year. The year 1973 witnessed the appearance of a distinctive film version ,the cast included Judy Foster who was in the role of Becky.

The latest quotations from the novel came in 1995 with Peter Hoyt's modest childish film Tom and Hawk on television, the novel has been transformed into several television works, most notably the Soviet film The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn, which appeared in 1981 by Stanislav Goforken. The novel was also translated to Arabic in 2001 by Mr. “Fadel Habeb Mohsen”.
